Customer Service Representative:

We have a full-time opening on our team for that rare person who embodies positivity, confidence, and creativity, and who flourishes under the challenge of changing demands and priorities. We know our expectations are high, but it’s because that’s exactly who we want interacting with our artist clients! If your adrenaline is pumping right now, that might be you. So, here’s the final gut-check: Do you intuitively know how to communicate with artists and photographers of all experience levels? Are you an artist or photographer, yourself? Are you teachable, adaptable, flexible and a team player? Are you passionate about serving people and helping out when there’s a need? Partial list of what you’ll be doing:

• You’ll have to learn everything about everything we create here (don’t worry, we’ll teach you) • Multi-task like a pro (otherwise known as simultaneously managing multiple projects with tight time frames)
• Skillfully navigate and use our CRM software
• Make our walk-in clients feel welcome and like they’re in good hands
• Listen to the client’s needs and lead them to the product that is the best solution
• Prepare and input orders for production after face-to-face client consultation, phone consultations, and online orders
• Answer phones and satisfactorily address client questions, or transfer calls to someone who can
• Take in payments (credit cards, cash, checks)
• Develop a loyal following of fine art clients who think you’re awesome because of your extreme competence in handling their projects

The must-haves:

• Experience or knowledge of fine art reproduction, photography, digital printing and/or graphic arts. A degree in a related field would be great, but we can talk if your experience is strong
• Exceptional, intuitive people skills with 2+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to clearly communicate with creative professionals, both verbally and in writing
• Can responsibly self-manage, multi-task, and meet deadlines with limited supervision
• Comfort with everyday usage of desktop computer and a variety of software
• Steady consistent work history
• Can stand for long periods of time and lift 20lbs

We produce fine art prints for artists’ worldwide, corporate graphics such as trade show displays, banners and display prints, museum / visitor center displays, and various fine art related services and fulfillment. Reed Art & Imaging is a family owned business located in central Denver since 1979.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities which are compatible with Reed Art & Imaging strategies and capabilities.
  • Research new business opportunities through various social networking channels.
  • You’re not afraid to hunt and prospect for business.
  • Able to close and convert potential leads into customers. Maintain relationships with current customers.
  • Develop new business and manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments.
  • Acquire the essential knowledge critical to properly supporting the best interests of prospects via Reed Art & Imaging products and services.
  • Able to correspond, meet with potential customers, and have professional presentation ability.
  • Trustworthy self-starter, that can self-manage and work with limited supervision.
  • Maintain long-term consultative relationship with clients for repeat business.
  • Be resourceful & take responsibility for controlling your own success in our business growth.
  • Detail oriented and able to gain understanding of the quoting process.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with tight time frames.

Education / Experience / Requirements:

  • Experience in, or knowledge of fine art reproduction, photography, digital printing, and graphic arts is a plus.
  • A degree is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
  • Steady consistent work history.
  • 2-5 years of previous sales experience is preferred.
  • You’re a quick learner and able to adapt to changing demands.
  • You’re proficient in general office programs and able to use a computer.
  • You have Reliable transportation. Other duties can be assigned by manager.
