Move up to the hottest outputs in the fine art market today, Giclee Fine Art Prints!

One of the biggest buzzwords in the fine art market today is "Giclee". With an ultra-high apparent resolution of 1800 d.p.i., and the ability to print on many fine-art substrates, the Giclee fine art print processes are commanding a great deal of attention. Ideal for fine art print editions, the Giclee has become the preferred method for fine art reproduction world-wide. The days are gone when full artist editions had to be run at one time. With our high-end giclee prints, your editions can be run in batches as little as one print at a time. Why waist your money printing thousands on speculation?
Many clients feel that our Epson 9600, combined with our years of technical experience in the digital realm, provide for art prints that outperform the competitive Iris for color fidelity and detail. The 7-color printing process of the Epson 9600 provides a much larger color gamut than the 4 and 6 color versions on the market today, and our technicians measure their reproduction experience in decades, not years.
The mystery behind "Giclee"
You probably already know that the word "giclee" is French, with an English translation of "to spray". But there is no magic behind giclee fine art prints. A Giclee printer is essentially a high-end ink-jet printer with higher resolution heads and the ability to work with fine art type substrates such as, watercolor papers, canvas, and others. By using "archival" inks, this fine art print medium preserves your art-buyers investment, making your artwork a more attractive purchase. And just how archival is a giclee print? There is a great deal of debate surrounding the longevity of Giclee prints, much of it a result if differing opinions on how to "correctly" test that longevity. the truth is, no one really knows for sure. Before we decide on paper and canvas stocks to run through the giclee printers, manufacturer specifications on longevity are examined, and we also thoroughly test papers to make sure the final print quality meets professionally stringent guidelines.
